Seasonale Warnings Seasonale Warnings?
Seasonale is in FDA’s pregnancy category X. The prescription causes birth defects in unborn children because of the hormonal changes it produces in the mother. Women who are pregnant or believe they might be pregnant should not take Seasonale.
Seasonale Drug Interactions Seasonale Drug Interactions?
Seasonale does not provide protection from sexually transmitted diseases--including HIV and AIDS. Using a condom is the only way to protect yourself from these diseases. Seasonale Missed Dose Seasonale Missed Dose?
If while taking Seasonale you forget to take a dose, take the medication as soon as you remember. Your next dose should then be taken at its regularly scheduled time. You can take more than one pill in a day using this plan. If you forgot two doses, take both when you remember. You may also take three pills at your next scheduled dose, or take two pills each at your next two scheduled doses. You are more likely to ovulate, so you should take extra precautions and use another form of birth control for seven days. If you forgot three doses, you must ignore the pills you missed and pick up on the dose for the current day. You might have a period during the next week. You should then continue to use another form of birth control until you have taken seven pills.
