Propecia Side Effects? |
 |
| |
Clinical tests showed PROPECIA was very well tolerated. Only a very small number of men had sexual side effects, with each occurring in less than 2% of men. They included less desire for sex, difficulty in achieving an erection, and a decrease in the amount of semen. When the men who had these side effects stopped taking PROPECIA, the side effects went away.

Anything Else I Should Know About Propecia? |
 |
| |
Within twelve months of beginning Propecia treatments, most men experience new hair growth. It works in the areas of the scalp where hair is thinning or balding.
Propecia may also help slow the rate of existing hair loss. It generally does not help with hair loss on the sides of the head or around the hairline. You will probably not be able to regrow all the hair that you have lost.
Be patient when taking Propecia. You will have to wait a while to see results. Baldness occurs slowly, and hair grows an average of a half-inch per month.
Most men take Propecia for at least three months before they begin to see an improvement. Continue using Propecia to continue seeing new improvements. If after twelve months you do not see a change, stop taking the medication.
Propecia is not effective in treating hair loss in postmenopausal women caused by androgenetic alopecia. Propecia is not intended for use by women.
Keep this medication out of the reach of children. Never share this prescription with anyone else.
